After shifting through millions that required that I be a kid, cancer-filled, or receiving life-extending treatment - which could actually be argued since I'm actually the primo age that most people if they're just going to randomly drop dead from epilepsy do - I FOUND THE MAGIC PAGE LALALALAAAA. I have been on 15 different medications and after three the chances of any working are slim to none. I know this for a fact because I've had seizure since I was a year old and have yet to find one that works for 100% control, unlike my old apartment manager who took Depakote with perfect control and no side effects as his FIRST drug, the bastard.
Johns Hopkins is running a study on using the Atkins diet as a way to maintain ketosis - which has been used in kids for years but the keto diet is NASTY and hard to stay on - they're taking adults for it now, ( and I want in. )
The problem is, they want you to go to Maryland 4 times over six months and I can't afford that. I know there are programs out there that help with travel for things like this, I'm having Google fail. Anyone know anything?
